Next week in Coronation Street, Sarah saves Bethany, baby Oliver’s naming ceremony takes place and Johnny’s health deteriorates.
After begging Phelan to take her to visit Seb at the Young Offenders, Faye is spotted by Anna getting into his van who climbs in demanding answers from Faye, who has to admit that he’s been giving her lifts to the Young Offenders Unit to visit Seb.
In a fury, Anna drives off, stopping away from the street where they have a blazing row and Faye runs off and later tells Anna that she’s going to stay with Izzy.
Turning down Kevin’s offer of a surprise hotel stay, Anna blames it on Faye’s meltdown. But is that just an excuse to avoid getting intimate with Kevin?
Suggesting that they throw another party for his friends, Bethany masks her dismay and begs Nathan to postpone the party so that she can go to a wedding fair with Sarah.
Setting off to meet Sarah at the wedding fair, Nathan pulls up in his car and orders her to get in.
When Bethany doesn’t show, Sarah is furious and sets off to the tanning salon on a mission.
Having forced Bethany into a sexy outfit and plied her with alcohol, Nathan heads out to get his mate Ian for the party. Letting herself into the flat, Sarah is horrified to see Bethany scantily clad and passed out on the sofa and calls Gary.
Arriving home with Bethany’s next client in tow he is furious to discover Bethany gone.
Back at no.8, Sarah tells Gary that she’s never letting her out of her sight again, but when Bethany wakes from her drunken stupor she panics that she’s late for Nathan’s party and goes to leave.
Shocked to discover that she’s been locked in, she goes ballistic, hurling ornaments at the wall.
The day of Oliver’s naming ceremony has arrived and as the Battersbys and Platts gather in the Bistro, Nick is nowhere to be seen.
When David goes to find his brother he finds him drunk and wallowing in self-pity after learning that Leanne went round to visit Chloe for the sake of Peter.
Liz is furious when she finds out that the naming ceremony is taking place and she hasn’t been invited. Dragging a reluctant Steve to the Bistro and tearing a strip off Leanne, she doesn’t know that Steve had previously declined Nick’s invitation.
With everyone at each other’s throats and Nick a no show will the naming ceremony go ahead?
With luck on their side as Tracy agrees to give him the money to buy the Rovers, Peter calls the IVF clinic to make an appointment but is shocked to discover that Toyah went ahead with the implant behind his back.
Confronting Toyah, the two of them row and Toyah lets slip that she suspects him of attacking Choe and Ken.
When Peter confides in Leanne, she calls round to Chloe’s house demanding that she drops the assault charge. But when Toyah also barges in, they play her at her own game and threaten to report her for assault unless she drops the charges against Peter.
But will she concede and give Peter an alibi for the time Ken was attacked?
Leanne locks herself out of the flat with Oliver inside. When Nick arrives homes and rescues Oliver. Breaking down to Toyah, Leanne worries that she’s not a fit mother and that Nick’s right about putting her ex before her own son.
Marching over to the Bistro, Toyah tears a strip off Nick, accusing him of bullying Leanne because he’s jealous of Steve and Peter.
Following a sudden urge to leave Weatherfield, Shona lies to Roy, Eileen and Todd, telling them she’s moving away as she’s got a new job. When her friends rally round her will they convince her to stay?
Making out he’s busy with wedding plans, Johnny declines Kate’s invitation to lunch. However when she finds out Johnny is lying Kate’s concerned.
When she spots him leaving Victoria Court with a good-looking woman, she wonders what he’s up to. After taking a call in the factory from a hotel confirming Mr Connor’s booking Kate jumps to conclusions not knowing the the booking was actually made by Aidan for him and Maria.
Not wishing to out his affair with Maria, Aidan makes out that the hotel booking was made by him and was meant to be a surprise for Eva. Will Eva buy it or is his affair about to be exposed?
Still suspicious, Kate calls round to see Johnny. When his leg gives way and he collapses, Johnny tries to play it down, revealing the woman Kate some him with earlier was a masseuse. Kate’s concerned as Johnny begs her not to tell Jenny.
Adam confides in Rosie that he reckons it was Daniel who pushed Ken and will they uncover anything when they search Daniel’s room and his locker at the bistro for evidence?
Upset to hear Drew’s taken a turn for the worse, Billy worries for Summer’s future, whilst Todd does his best to appear sympathetic. But he’s concerned when Billy admits he’s worried that Summer could end up in care.
Elsewhere, Mary returns from the Lakes with an injured Norris and Daniel and Sinead return from Oxford.
