Next week in Corrie, Rana’s parents pay her a visit, Carla is taken to hospital and Chesney fights for Gemma’s honour.
Rana’s parents arrive in Weatherfield with a solution to fix her marriage with Zeedan.
In Monday night’s episode Rana gets a text from her parents to say that they’re coming to visit. During the visit, Zeedan hands round glasses of whisky and forces Rana to confess about her affair. But Rana’s parents are stunned when Zeedan reveals her lover is a woman and he is shocked by their next move.
Rana is horrified to find that Zeedan is even considering her parents proposition. But will Imran be able to convince her otherwise? If she doesn’t, he tells her that she’ll be an outcast.
On Wednesday, Zeedan tells Robert that him and Rana are giving their marriage another go. He offers to return to work, but only if Kate gets the sack. When Robert refuses, Zeedan loses his job and turns to Rana’s parents to ask for more money.
Leanne informs Yasmeen about Rana’s affair and the deal with her parents, and points out to Zeedan that cashing in on Rana’s affair is not going to make him happy in the long run.
In the first of Friday’s two episodes, we see Zeedan tell Leanne to mind her own business. Will she listen? And what does this mean for the future of Rana and Zeedan?
Carla’s secret gets out as she is taken to hospital.
In the first of Monday’s two episodes, Peter is unable to hide his anger towards Carla for her fling with Daniel. When he berates her for sleeping with someone so young she puts him back in his place, confessing to Michelle that it was just a fling and meant nothing.
In Monday’s second episode, Carla decides to enjoy herself with Daniel whilst she still can. She then heads to the Bistro where she gets drunk on just one glass of wine and Johnny is pleased to see her having fun.
On Wednesday, Aidan and Kate both discover that they’re a match for Carla and Aidan insists on being her donor. As Carla and Daniel head to the Rovers for a drink, she collapses leading Peter to think that she’s drunk. Horrified, Roy has no choice but to reveal the truth about Carla, telling him that she’s seriously ill.
During Wednesday’s second episode, the family gather round Carla’s hospital bed and Johnny is shocked to have been kept in the dark. But when he finds out that Aidan is planning on donating a kidney to his sister, he is stunned and grateful to him.
We learn on Friday that Carla needs the operation as soon as possible, so Aidan starts to prepare for the donation. At the hospital, as Peter and Daniel vie for Carla’s attention, Aidan arrives and says that he has undergone all the tests and is ready to donate his kidney. Jenny and Johnny are thrilled but Aidan disguises his nerves.
As Chesney discovers the truth about Henry and fights for Gemma’s honour, has her fairytale come to an end?
In Monday’s episodes, Gemma and Henry meet up for lunch along with his friend Hugo and his girlfriend. Sitting on a nearby table, Chesney is appalled to overhear Hugo and Henry talking about how they are only going out with the girls for a bet. He decides that Gemma has a right to know the truth.
On Wednesday, Chesney comforts Gemma as she turns up to work all tearful. When she leaves Henry comes looking for her and Chesney sees red and punches him. Later, Gemma is chuffed to hear how Chesney stood up for her.
It’s Eva’s birthday and she’s in for two unwanted surprises.
In the first of Friday’s two episodes, Eva is caught out when both Adam and Leanne want to spoil her for her birthday. Leanne wants to throw her a boozy party and presents her with a new dress, whilst Adam wants to take her to the new sushi restaurant in town.
Not being able to do either because of her pregnancy, she tells Adam that she’s got food poisoning. Not seeing through her lie, he tells her to go to Leanne’s party and they’ll reschedule their date. At the party, Eva drinks Lemonade which she disguises as lemonade. But will she get found out?
David gets into shape for Luke’s fundraiser.
On Monday, Shona is not impressed to find Maria massaging David’s leg and Maria worries that Shona is her boxing opponent for Luke’s fundraiser. As he prepares for his match, David gets some one-to-one training from Josh.
Nicola resorts to desperate measures as her secret is close to being discovered.
In Friday’s episode, Faye is shocked to find a prescription for Seb in Gary’s pocket and Phelan overhears her booking a cab to take her to Nicola’s flat. When Faye arrives at the flat, she is stunned to hear Seb on the intercom. But as Phelan arrives behind her and jams the door with his foot, is the game up?
When Nicola manages to hide Seb in the bedroom, Faye pretends she has come for Nicola’s advice on a bully at school. Desperate to get Phelan out of the flat, Nicola pretends she is having problems with the baby and he rushes her to the hospital.
But when Phelan asks Nicola to move into number 11 with him, will she accept?
Summer worries about Billy, but will Adam have a change of heart?
On Wednesday, Adam orders more drugs for Billy and offers him more painkillers, and in a bid to make himself indispensable he does the laundry for Billy and Summer. But Summer is worried that social services might think they can’t cope.
And during Friday’s episode Summer is determined to look after Billy without Adam’s help and misses Amy’s party to stay at home with him. But when Adam has a stab of conscience, he refuses to give Billy any more painkillers as Billy tries to hide his pain from Summer.
Dev and Sally worry when Gina goes missing and Sally believes her marriage might be over.
With Gina missing in Monday’s episode, when they find her it’s clear that she’s not well and Dev promises to Sally that he will look after her.
And on Friday, with Tim needing money for Faye, to get her away from Weatherfield, Sally is shocked when he offers Steve first refusal on his share of Streetcars. And later, Sally confides in Kevin that she fears her marriage is over.
