Aadi is confronted by a masked robber ahead of Dev's return in Corrie

Inviting Aadi to join her and Frankie for tea, Lauren explains it’s her way of apologising for her recent behaviour. Aadi agrees, unaware of Lauren’s growing feelings towards him.

Later, Aadi shouts as a masked robber dashes out of the corner shop, but when Lisa freezes, Carla’s puzzled by her lack of action.

When Carla quizzes Lisa, wanting to know why she didn’t arrest the robber, but let him run off, she refuses to discuss it which leaves Carla feeling troubled.

When Aadi tells Asha how the lad threatened him with a wrench and forced him to empty the safe, she assures him it’s not his fault and he’s the victim of a crime.

As he tells PC Jess what happened, Aadi explains the robber made off with £6k in cash but at least they’re insured. But when Bernie clocks his shifty demeanour, is there more to this than Aadi’s letting on?

Suddenly, the door flies open and Dev barrels in wondering what he’s missed.
