Aaron is confused by John's behaviour ahead of their wedding in Emmerdale

Will Aaron be suspicious of his fiance's excuses?

 12-18 APRIL

When Aaron suggests using Chas’ bookings for their wedding, he's dejected by John’s tepid reaction to the idea. Annoyed not to have been consulted, John storms out leaving Aaron confused.

The next day, John apologises for yesterday’s reaction about the wedding and Aaron’s surprised when John seems reflective and eager to talk about his faults in the relationship. After some discussion, John opens up to Aaron about his issues surrounding control.

Oblivious to the lengths John has gone to maintain control, Aaron reassures his partner and the pair are reunited.

When Aaron asks John who he’ll be inviting to their wedding, John’s awkward to be put on the spot. On the back foot, John tries to explain his lack of family and friends. Will Aaron be suspicious of his fiance's excuses?

Unbeknownst to John, feeling sorry for him, Victoria formulates a plan to contact some of John’s army friends for the stag.
