But can she live up to his expectations?
FOR WEEK COMMENCING 29 JULY
As Abe pushes Cleo on getting the keys for the flat, John Paul is concerned whether it’s the right thing. Whilst Misbah offers Cleo some advice after she's told how her family aren’t supportive with her decision to move in with Abe.
Later, Abe tells Cleo her family are manipulating her and says unkind words about Theresa. And Abe isn’t happy to discover that Misbah and Donny are joining them for lunch.
Whilst ordering, Abe takes over, encouraging Cleo to get a salad, masking his control with an excuse of wanting her to get into healthy habits. And Donny tells Misbah he thinks Abe is a misogynist.
When Cleo tells Abe she doesn’t like his continuous nasty comments about her and other people, he gaslights her and turns it around on her.
Following their fallout, Abe didn’t stay at his and Cleo’s new flat.
Soon, in the village, Cleo begs him to let her prove they can be the young fun couple he wants them to be. And when John Paul spots them and asks about their first night in their flat, they lie and pretend they were together.
As they throw a moving in party, Cleo feels awkward during a game of ‘never have I ever’ during the party and we see her picking at her food.
When John Paul refers to her and himself as boring, Cleo, not wanting to seem boring, agrees to open up about her relationship with Abe.
