Abe fears he's killed a seriously ill Cleo as he plans a proposal in Hollyoaks

But will Peri want to marry him?

Ailing Cleo has been alone for days after loved-up Abe and Peri’s minibreak.

When Abe gets back, to his panic, he finds her seriously ill and Cleo says she needs to go to the hospital for antibiotics.

Back in her room Cleo deteriorates and passes out. Sobbing, Abe believes that he has killed her. When she comes round, she begs him to call an ambulance. But will he?

Later, Peri is livid after turning up for a hot date with Abe, but he doesn’t show. Taking Peri to the pub to cheer her up, Marie tears a strip off Abe on the phone telling him to get himself there.

Seeing Peri drowning her sorrows, Darren tells her he has seen Abe with an engagement ring, which delights her and Marie.

As Peri builds herself up for Abe’s proposal, back at the flat, Abe has prepared a special romantic dinner. Whilst Peri has her doubts, Marie tries to calm her nerves and persuade her that her son Abe is a changed man.

Turning up at the flat, Peri surveys the scene, champagne and roses and a ring box, and after sharing her fears with Marie, what will she do?t
