As Cleo plans a night out, she tells Theresa and Mercedes she just wants Abe back, whilst he tries to rebuild bridges with Joel who’s pining over Leela.
In The Loft, as Cleo and Joel apologise to one another and wish one another the best in their futures, Abe watches on and later encourages a drunk Joel to go and try and speak to Leela.
When Abe leaves them to dance with other girls, Cleo is left disheartened and Joel's attempts to make amends with Leela fail as he's kicked out of her house.
As the McQueen girls head back home, they tell John Paul about Abe upsetting Cleo and Theresa is determined to go and give Abe a piece of her mind. However, things don't go as expected when she's left feeling sorry for Abe.
Later, Misbah encourages Cleo to go after Abe if the spark is still there. When Abe tells her that he needs to understand what bonds her and Joel, Cleo opens up about how her stepfather used to abuse her and her past struggles with bulimia.
In a turn of events, Abe tells Cleo he wants them to start a fresh slate back together
