Carl checks his bank balance having transferred some money from Debbie’s account.

When Carl explains to James that his Mum died, and he got drunk and regrets sending him a text, James threatens to spill the beans to Abi. Can Carl stop him? Later, Carl finds James and suggests they could both do with some fun.

As Abi takes Alfie to visit Kevin, he asks her to stay and watch a film, but she texts Carl, keen to get back.

In Abi’s flat, Carl and James tear at each other’s clothes, unaware of Carl’s phone buzzing on the side. Is Abi about to get a Christmas shocker?

After telling Carl she’s off out shopping, when alone with Tracy, Abi breaks down, fearing for her relationship.

Meanwhile, Carl tells Ronnie that he wants to go see his Mum’s body to say a final goodbye and he offers to go with him. And Carl confides in him over how his Mum never showed him any love as a child and that’s why he finds it difficult to love as an adult.

When Ronnie questions if he loves Abi, how will Carl reply?

Back at the hotel, Ryan takes a call chasing up an invoice, but when he tries to access the hotel accounts he discovers that Carl has changed the passwords, leaving him suspicious.

After finding a bag full of cash in the boot of Carl’s car, when they pull up at the hotel, Abi opens the boot and discovers the bag is gone. Finding Kevin outside, Abi reveals she thinks Carl is planning to do a runner and Kevin is incandescent. As Kevin stands up to make his speech, what has he got planned?
