Who's the father?
After assuring the social worker that she’s enrolled in rehab and will do whatever it takes to keep her baby, Abi tells Toyah she has to prove she can offer Alfie a proper home.
But when Toyah quizzes Imran about her ‘ex client’, his mind whirring and guessing that she’s talking about Abi, tracks her down at the hospital where she admits that he’s the father of her baby.
Shocked, Imran asks to see his son but as as they turn to see Toyah watching from the corridor, will an emotional Imran blurt out the truth?
Demanding answers after seeing Abi's story in the Gazette, Debbie assumes the baby to be Kevin's. But Abi hurries out, explaining the baby is having an operation today.
As she waits for news, Abi is stunned to see Kevin in the hospital corridor. When he takes her in his arms, she breaks down. With Kevin assuming assuming the baby is the result of her one night stand with Tez, Abi goes along with the lie.
When the nurse confirms that Alfie’s operation went well, Kevin offers to let Abi stay at No.13 until she’s won custody, giving her hope.
Later, calling at the garage, Imran reminds Kevin that no matter what the circumstances, Abi's entitled to maternity pay.
