Alfie takes a hard line with Tommy to curb his bad behaviour in EastEnders

But will he manage to make progress?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 29 JULY

With Kat at her wits’ end with Tommy’s bad behaviour, Alfie suggests she takes a holiday and he’ll look after the kids. But Kat insists she needs to be there to handle Tommy and it looks like she’s right when she's forced to step in after he's rough with the twins.

Later, Kat confides in Alfie about her fears for Tommy as he resolves to help her.

Trying a different tactic, Alfie takes a hard line with Tommy, who agrees to behave after Alfie tells him that he’s trying to convince Kat to take a holiday. When Kat arrives home, Tommy plays nice and Alfie is pleased to have made progress.

Later, Alfie decides to host a mini-Olympics in the Square, but has to convince Tommy to participate by offering a cash prize to the winner.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
