Alya and Dee-Dee to join forces as legal hotshots in Corrie

After clearing Stu's name over a crime that he did not commit.

After congratulating Dee-Dee on clearing Stu’s name, Adam offers her a job at the solicitors which she accepts, depending on the salary.

In the restaurant, Stu blames himself for the vandalism and tells Yasmeen it’s even more reason he should find somewhere else to live.

When Dee-Dee suggests to Alya that she’d love to take her on as her legal secretary and train her up, Alya happily accepts.

Coronation Street’s latest double act Alya Nazir and Dee-Dee Bailey are set to join forces as legal hotshots.

The pair have already proved that they mean business after they came together to fight for justice for Stu Carpenter; clearing his name over a crime that he did not commit and putting the real murderer behind bars.

In these exclusive pictures, the dream team show that they are a force to be reckoned with in Weatherfield.

And Yasmeen admits to Stu that she still has feelings for him and if he were to share her bedroom, there would be a spare room for Eliza.

After helping a jittery Stu prepare No.6 for a visit from Eliza’s social worker, Yasmeen and Stu are both delighted when the social worker approves No.6 as Eliza’s new home and confirms she can move in immediately.

When Eliza moves into No.6, Stu’s anxious to make a favourable impression. But when Eliza asks after her mum, Stu suggests they could visit her together and as they prepare for their prison visit, Yasmeen’s quick to reassure a fretting Stu that he’s doing fine.

With Eliza subdued after visiting her mum, Yasmeen assures Stu he’s doing a wonderful job and Eliza’s lucky to have him.

And Yasmeen is delighted to hear that Dee-Dee has offered Alya an exciting new job and urges her to seize the opportunity.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV
