Will they make her go to the police?

 29 NOVEMBER - 5 DECEMBER

Having managed to wangle some cash from Bob for supposed shopping, April heads off to the bus stop and arrives outside the house she saw on Callum’s social media.

Filling a Christmas card with the cash Bob gave her, April heads towards the house. Knowing she’s about to do something stupid, April posts the card through the letterbox, as a gift for his ‘bereaved wife’, before running away to hide, not seeing Callum open the door. Spooked by the occurrence, Callum calls Ray.

Back at the village, Ray reveals he knows what April’s been up to and he furiously urges April to stop digging into Callum, no matter how much it hurts her. Dylan can tell April’s chat with Ray has clearly rattled her.

Returning to the farm, Ray tells Celia about April almost coming face-to-face with Callum, and the pair begin to put a plan together to separate her from her loved ones.

When Ray firmly tells her to pack a bag ready to go away on a job, April sees no choice but to head off and do his bidding.

Meanwhile, Marlon approaches Dylan to ask why he hasn’t been to his party, and he subtly urges Marlon to get April to tell the police everything. Once panicked Marlon has headed off, Dylan goes inside Tenants to collect his phone, only to be met by Celia.

When she hurries him along, Dylan is unable to hide a picture of Bear, which Celia sees, quickly realising she has a problem on her hands.

Shortly after, April rushes to the bus stop with a packed bag, before she’s intercepted by Marlon, who questions what trouble she’s in.

At first, a gobsmacked April denies anything is wrong before eventually breaking down and admitting she’s been dealing drugs.

Determined to save April from her living hell, Marlon and Rhona persuade her to abandon Ray’s job and stay with them, but April panics when Marlon gets ready to go to the police station.

As she tries to convince him it’s a bad idea, April is forced to reveal she murdered Callum, leaving Marlon and Rhona gobsmacked. And soon, all three are stopped in their tracks when they open the door to find Celia, wanting to discuss something with them.

Receiving a video call from Ray, Celia props up the phone.

Emmerdale continues Mondays to Fridays at 7.30pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
