April is playing a dangerous game as Ray tightens his grip in Emmerdale

Will April’s loyalty to Dylan be enough to save her?

 13-19 SEPTEMBER

Arriving at a car park for a drugs drop-off, April meets a young lad, but is quickly noticed by a patrolling Swirling. Covering her real intentions, April is panicked when Swirling insists on giving her a lift back to the village.

When Swirling drops April off, Rhona is baffled and wants answers. Riddled with guilt, April makes excuses and Rhona is none the wiser.

Meeting with Dylan, Ray tells him he’s having doubts about April’s ability to keep quiet after her run in with Swirling.

When a nervous Dylan questions what went wrong with the drop off, he tells April about Ray’s doubts. She’s furious to be involved in Ray’s world, trying to encourage her, Dylan mentions their plans to rent a flat, and April suddenly rushes out, leaving Dylan kicking himself.

Meanwhile, Dylan has an interview at the depot with Jai and Caleb.

The next day, when April sees how much faith Dylan has in Ray, she feels bad for him. Shortly after, Dylan receives a text from Ray, and the pair head off to meet him, determined to talk him round.

Meeting Ray in a layby, April stands up to him, forcefully asking when their debt will be wiped out. And Dylan is left worried when Ray insists he only needs April, before taking her off in the car.
