Ash is left heartbroken by Suki’s rejection as she returns to Walford in EastEnders

Can they mend their relationship?

 19-25 SEPTEMBER

When Penny and Vinny return home with their baby, their homecoming is interrupted when Vinny is called to bail out Suki, who has been arrested and is being held at the police station.

At the station, he's surprised to find it’s Ash in custody for drunk and disorderly behaviour, who insists she's back to see their baby. However, Penny and Vinny are taken aback when she reveals she's staying for a few weeks.

Despite Eve's encouragement, Suki refuses to make contact with her daughter, but eventually agrees to talk to Ash, unaware she overheard everything.

Later, a remark about Suki's parenting reignites tensions between her and Ash. With Eve's help, they finally reconcile, but Suki insists Ash can't stay as she and Eve need to focus on Ria, leaving Ash feeling rejected once again.

Soon, Vinny and Ash share a heart-to-heart, and although Suki tries to build a relationship with her daughter, she doesn’t realise Ash hasn’t forgiven her.
