Unhappy with Asha’s living arrangements, Dev meets up with Corey's dad, Stefan. But it's soon clear that Stefan couldn’t care less what his son gets up to.
Losing his temper, Dev asserts that if Asha fails her exams or lands up pregnant, he’ll be holding him accountable for his lack of parental responsibility.
When Corey reveals that Dev had a word with his Dad, he tells her that she’s no longer welcome to stay, leaving her furious.
And when Aadi reveals to Dev that Asha’s been in touch and told him where she’s living, Dev calls at Nick and Leanne’s flat. A smug Corey explains that his parents have taken over the lease and the flat is now his and Asha’s!
In the cafe, Asha enthuses about her new living arrangements to Nina and Kelly but Yasmeen warns Dev that he needs to keep a close eye on Asha. After calling at Asha and Corey’s flat, Dev leaves and Corey makes it clear to Asha that her Dad’s not welcome.
Later, Mary calls at Asha and Corey’s flat with a house-warming gift and Asha thanks Corey for a lovely day and admits she’s never felt happier. But when Asha suggests they get a couple of cats so they can be a proper family, it’s clear Corey doesn’t share her enthusiasm.
When Kelly accuses Corey of turning into Mr Boring, he reckons she’s jealous, but it’s clear they’re enjoying the banter.
