Avani's termination sends shockwaves through Walford in EastEnders

How will Joel react when he finds out what she's done?

As Avani struggles with morning sickness, Eve tries to convince Suki to tell Ravi and Priya about the pregnancy.

Later, feeling self-conscious at Amy’s hot tub party, Avani reaches for a drink, but Suki and Eve soon arrive to check on her and a row ensues, leading Avani to rush off.

As Eve chases after her, a heart-to-heart about Avani’s true feelings, sees Eve agree to support her choice to have a termination.

The following day, Suki is suspicious when Avani and Eve make excuses to go off together, unaware they intend to go to a clinic.

Meanwhile, Stacey helps Suki see that she has to be honest with Ravi and Priya, so she heads home to tell them about Avani. As the consequences of Avani’s termination is felt throughout the family, Suki is the target of Priya and Ravi’s fury.

Elsewhere, Joel learns about Avani having a termination. Angry that he wasn’t consulted, Joel decides to confront her and storms over to No.5a. And Priya implores Ravi to stay calm as Joel tries to provoke him.

Later, Joel sees Avani and starts berating her. But as things escalate Vicki steps in and drags him home. Once alone, Vicki reads Joel the riot act but is shocked at how he responds.
