With Mitch less than interested in celebrating his birthday, Karen drags him over to The Vic for a drink and the pair get more than they bargained for when they arrive to find Avery, Mitch’s estranged big brother!
As Avery impresses Mitch’s family, things are tense at the Taylor's and refusing to give his brother the time of day, Mitch later snaps at The Vic and tells him that he wasn’t there for him when he needed him.
Apologising, Avery asks a reluctant Mitch to help him with a job. Convinced that he has an ulterior motive, Mitch isn't sure but Karen encourages him to give Avery a chance. Arriving with a van of white goods, Avery assures Mitch it’s all legit and convinces him to do the job.
Afterwards, Mitch realises he's been lied to and it was a dodgy job and warns Avery to stay away from his family. When he later arrives to talk to Mitch, Avery collapses!
As the Taylor's await news on Avery, Mitch calls his two sons, Finlay and Felix who soon arrive with a revelation that leaves the Taylor's shocked.
