Ben suffers heart problems as Eve and Maggie's feud continues in Corrie

Can they call a truce for the sake of Ben’s health?

17-23 JANUARY

When Leanne suggests to Maggie that she’d like to buy her out of the pub, Eva acts shocked, despite suggesting to her the week before that she should sell her share of Speed Daal and buy Maggie’s slice of the Rovers instead. Rounding on Eva, Maggie accuses her of plotting with Leanne behind her back.

Whilst Eva and Maggie trade insults over the sale of Maggie’s share of the pub, Ben heads off to deal with the beer delivery, and soon clutches his chest in pain.

When Leanne offers her £160k for her share of the pub, Maggie turns her down, and things take a turn when Leanne’s bag wraps around a bar stool, causing Maggie to fall.

Noticing that Ben looks pale and sweaty, Eva calls an ambulance after Ben admits that he’s been suffering heart palpitations. Meanwhile, a worried Will is already at A&E with Megan, who is feeling unwell. Are they about to be rumbled?

The following morning, as Maggie and Eva bicker over Ben’s breakfast, Ben despairs, and Eva and Maggie agree that, for the sake of Ben’s health, they need to call a truce.

Coronation Street continues Monday to Friday at 8.30pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
