Bethany shows Jodie a picture of a guy she’s met online and reveals they’ve arranged a date. But when an upset Bethany later confides in Jodie that Ethan stood her up, and had the gall to accuse her of cancelling their date, Jodie feigns sympathy.

Later, Bethany casually quizzes David about Jodie’s childminding credentials and if he ran any background checks?

In the Kabin, Bethany paints on a smile and suggests to Jodie that they meet up for another drink. And when a tipsy Daniel has a pop at Bethany for her past behaviour, Jodie leaps to her defence and Bethany warms to her.
