BETRAYAL in Corrie as Alya and Zeedan help Stu prove his innocence

With Yasmeen furious at them both, what will Stu's files reveal?

When Zeedan learns from Craig that the detective Stu accused of persecution took early retirement for a spurious reason, he asks him to try and find out more.

As Yasmeen and Zeedan receive letters from Stu begging them to visit him in prison, Yasmeen rips them up and bins them. And Craig breaks the news that Stu could be released within a matter of days.

Delivering a speech about domestic abuse to the fundraiser guests, Yasmeen becomes visibly panicky and when Roy later calls at Speed Daal, he finds Yasmeen suffering a panic attack and struggling to breathe.

Meanwhile, Zeedan visits Stu in prison, who tells him about his case files and how he intends to prove his innocence. Calling at the solicitors' office, Zeedan asks Adam to request Stu’s case files.

But when Adam confirms that he’s requested Stu’s old case files, Yasmeen reels and confronts Zeedan. Calling Zeedan, Stu begs him to pass the phone to Yasmeen but as he does so, she kills the call.

Meeting up with Zeedan in Victoria Garden, Adam confirms that he can access Stu’s case files but it will cost £1200 and Zeedan puts pressure on Alya to help him do right by Stu and go halves on his legal fees.

Together, they call at Adam's office and hand him the £1200, confirming that they’d like to see Stu’s files.

Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV
