But is he right to be concerned?
With Bob yet to consummate his relationship with Wendy, he confides in Dan who encourages him to try and make a move.
However, when Bob later plies Wendy with oysters, opera and dark chocolate by candle-light, it has the reverse reaction. Making her excuses, Wendy leaves, leaving Bob worried that he’s overstepped the mark.
The next day, Dan pops over again and offers to fix Wendy’s car for free and with things still awkward between them after last night, Bob grows jealous to see the pair chatting together.
After Wendy makes dinner for Dan and Bob, Bob is called to the pub to deal with a delivery, but he’s uneasy about leaving them both alone together. Is he right to be worried?
The next day, Dan makes another excuse to drop in on Wendy and Bob returns to to find them cosily playing cards together. As his jealousy piques, Bob confronts the situation asking Wendy where they stand.
Could this finally sort out things once and for all? Or has he ruined his chances for good?
