Caleb’s plan to turn Ruby against Sadie backfires in Emmerdale

Will Sadie use their affair to get revenge on Caleb?

As Joe holds Caleb’s affair over his head, Caleb tells him that Ruby would never believe him, but Joe reminds him that she’d believe Sadie.

When Caleb sees Sadie using his phone to finish deals, he's miffed and as she flirts with him, Sadie is heartbroken when he offers to put a down payment on a flat for her in Banbury and lays the emotion on thick, urging him to stop assuming the worst of her.

After feeling guilty, Caleb reluctantly agrees to help Sadie with some paperwork for Ruby’s sake, but there’s still a hint of sexual tension, resisted by Caleb.

Later on, Ruby is furious to hear that her client hasn’t received their order, and blames Sadie, who’s at a loss for an explanation. When Ruby shows her the order list, Sadie realises Caleb has tampered with it.

As Caleb begins apologising to Sadie, Ruby bursts in, celebrating Sadie’s handling of the situation, and Caleb realises his plan has failed as Ruby and Sadie are as close as ever.

Once they're alone, Sadie scalds Caleb for his betrayal and reveals she understood the order lists, but just wanted to spend some time with him. Sadie seems to promise she won’t cause any more complications, but as Caleb leaves, she watches the footage of their affair, clearly not finished with him yet.
