How will this leave Remi feeling?

Bringing Cara home from hospital, Remi struggles to keep her resting as much as she should be after major surgery, but Cara thinks Remi should put more trust in her to know her own body.
Instead, Remi proposes a bargain, she and Cara can begin to research known donor options, if Cara will just rest appropriately. Cara agrees, but also decides to get up in the night for an elicit snack and as she’s reaching for a top cupboard she feels a painful stab in her abdomen.
The next day, Cara hides her accident from Remi, but it’s clear the pain is still intense and something isn’t right. With the help of too many painkillers, she’s able to get excited about a book made by families who’ve gone the known donor route. But will her internal injuries lead to trouble?
When Remi notices Cara sweating a little, she continues to hide the pain she’s in and it’s not long before Cara admits to her wife that the painkillers she’s taking are no longer working.
After Remi books Cara in for a check-up at the hospital, Cara never makes it. When they’re due to leave, Remi finds Cara shivering, collapsed on the lawn and in desperate need of an ambulance.
While Cara anxiously waits for surgery, she confesses to Remi that she caused her injury while hunting for beef jerky then covered it up.
Later, JJ and Dex arrive at the hospital, where Remi tells them that Cara is in surgery, but when she’s called away to talk to the surgeon afer the operation, the boys realise something is wrong.
When they both go to see Cara, Remi asks JJ for privacy, revealing to Cara what the surgeon told her, that due to medical complications, Cara had to have a life-saving, complete hysterectomy. But when Cara is oddly accepting of this, Remi is left deeply concerned.
