Carl's drunken escape puts him and Debbie in danger in Corrie

In the build-up to Corriedale, Corrie’s first episode of the week sees Debbie and Ronnie’s guests prepare to leave the wedding party in the minibus, each of them caught up in their own dramas.

Distraught, Debbie attempts to put on a brave face at the party while Carl is distracted by his cash, unaware it's mostly fake.

Still drinking heavily and keen to escape, Carl hasn't bargained on Debbie jumping into his car and drives off recklessly. With a terrified Debbie trapped in the car, he confronts her about his dying mother.

Remaining oblivious, Ronnie dances away at the reception, while Kevin and Abi chase after Carl and Debbie.

As darkness falls and the weather worsens, a series of dramatic events brings the residents of Hotton and Weatherfield together, and their lives change forever. Will Carl and Debbie survive?
