Carl’s twisted plan sends shockwaves through Weatherfield as Theo shows his true colours in Corrie

Will Todd’s exit, Summer’s terror and Debbie’s showdown push everything past the point of no return??

18-24 APRIL

After witnessing Theo squaring up to Gary, who refuses to rise to Theo’s bait, Carl decides to try his best to get Theo arrested for assault by goading him.

With Carl in hot pursuit, Theo bursts into the Rovers, and Gemma refuses to serve him, whilst Eva confirms that he’s barred. Furious, Theo storms out, and Carl hurries after him.

On the street, Carl does his best to wind Theo up in the hope he’ll start a fight and get himself arrested. Will he succeed?

Over breakfast, Debbie receives a call informing her that Carl’s in hospital, but what has happened to him?

Meanwhile, Abi calls at the shop with some news about Carl that terrifies Summer, and Theo menacingly gets in Summer’s face, telling her how Billy begged him to save him.

Ronnie is shocked to discover that Carl is trying to blackmail Debbie into signing over the hotel, and he pleads with her not to give in to his demands. Calling at the hotel, Carl helps himself to a drink. When Ryan remonstrates with him, Carl gleefully fires him and reveals that he now owns the hotel.

Having been summoned by Debbie, Carl calls at the flat, and Debbie tells him he’s not having the hotel, but she’ll give him some cash, and never wants to see him again. How will he react?

In the shop, Summer pours her heart out to George, relaying all the nasty things Theo said.

Cornering Theo, George spells out that if he goes anywhere near Todd or Summer again, he won’t be responsible for his actions.

As Theo crawls out of his van, Miles heads over, horrified at the state of him, and as Carl approaches, he overhears Theo begging Miles to speak to his Mum, suggesting they try again as a family. And Carl sees a chance to get one over on Theo.

Kit assures Todd that he’ll do everything possible to protect him from Theo, and at No.11, Todd tells George he’s arranged to visit Eileen and Jason in Thailand. As Todd heads to bed, Theo watches him through the bedroom window.

Having been summoned by Debbie, Carl calls at the hotel and is handed an envelope full of cash by Debbie, who makes it clear she never wants to see him again.

Meanwhile, Todd heads to the shop flat to pick up the last of his belongings before leaving for Thailand.
