Can Lisa convince Carla to look after the baby?

Opening the door, Carla is shocked to find a baby in a car seat on the doorstep. When Lisa goes after the woman, hurrying away, she discovers that the baby is Connie, Rob and Mandy's daughter! And the grandmother needs them to look after Connie while she’s in hospital.

Carla refuses point-blank, despite Lisa spelling out that she’s Connie’s Auntie and without her, she’ll end up in care. Will Carla be moved?

The next morning, having been woken up early by Connie, will a bleary-eyed Carla, Lisa, Betsy and Ryan accept that this is their new routine?

When Carla bounces Connie on her knee as they watch TV together. Lisa wonders if she’s making a breakthrough. And when Sally tries to offer them parenting tips, Carla and Lisa make it clear that they’re not interested.
