Carla and Lisa finally decide to get back together in Corrie

But will it be plain sailing this time around?

At Underworld, Betsy tells Carla that they were once a family and could be again, as both she and her Mum still love her very much.

Later in the café, Roy explains to Lisa that it’s the anniversary of Hayley’s death and he’s going to visit the boating lake where he scattered her ashes. He also urges Carla to patch things up with Lisa, as Hayley would want her to be happy. And Carla points out that Hayley would want him to be happy, too.

Calling at the bistro to book a client lunch, Carla is surprised to be handed a letter by Ryan inviting her to lunch at the Bistro with Lisa.

Sitting down for lunch, Carla starts to text Lisa, but the clients say that they don’t allow phones at the table, and Carla switches hers off. How will Lisa react to being ghosted?

Clearly drunk, Lisa barges her way into the hotel restaurant, lambasts Carla for standing her up. How will Carla react?

The following day, a hungover Lisa watches as Carla makes breakfast and admits she remembers very little about the previous day.

When a tearful Sally calls at No.6 with some post for Carla, she proceeds to pour out her marriage woes to Lisa, and an exasperated Carla surreptitiously calls Tim and orders him to come and fetch his wife.

Later, Carla and Lisa call at the Rovers, and everyone's thrilled when they announce that they're back together.
