Carter proposes to Maxine after coming out to her as bisexual in Hollyoaks

What will she say? And is Carter ready to face his sexuality?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 25TH MARCH

With Maxine wanting answers, Carter is cornered into confronting the truth and tells her he's bisexual. Hurting about his secret out there, Carter punishes John Paul and tells him if he leaves work to go and get Sally he’ll be suspended.

Meanwhile, Cleo is taken aback when Abe goes against her wishes and blurts out to Theresa they’re looking for a place together. At the hospital John Paul is left confused when Sharon tells him Sally will need TLC over the next few weeks.

Later, a preoccupied Carter shouts at John Paul who asks for his job back and tells him that he and Maxine are better without him.

When Leah and Lucas return to school, Dillon shows Lucas his concern over his recent wellbeing but is pushed away.

Desperate to keep Maxine, Carter proposes to her at the market. Realising he’s lost, she tells him he doesn’t know who he is and can’t help him.

Later, when Dillon walks in on Carter taking pictures of Lucas with a bible stating it’s for a new website advertising the Special Behavioural Unit, he's confused. Knowing his feelings are too strong for Lucas he breaks things off with Freya.

When Carter tells Dillon that Lucas has been extremely vulnerable and all he’s doing is helping him with his struggles, he comforts a heartbroken Freya and extends an olive branch to John Paul, offering him his job back. But tells him that they aren’t friends and interactions between one and other must be professional only.
