When Cassie wakes up on the sofa at No.4, Tim describes how he found her slumped in the cab office with a bottle of whisky and brought her home. Cassie tells Tim how Steve’s dumped her and Tyrone’s thrown her out.

Announcing she’s got a job cleaning on a cruise ship, Cassie shares an emotional goodbye with Hope, Ruby and Dorin, and Fiz gives Cassie a family photo to keep.

Cassie asks Steve to meet her in the precinct, but Ross pulls up first and offers her a lift. Locking the car doors, he guns the engine just as Steve arrives. Is Cassie in danger?

Later, Ross tells Fiz and Tyrone that he wants to move nearby, but Fiz quickly closes down the conversation.

Steve asks Ross where he dropped Cassie off, but Ross feigns ignorance until Steve reveals how he saw Cassie get into his car, forcing him to change his story, claiming he took her to Piccadilly Station. What is Ross hiding?

When Ross later announces that he’s off to prison for his first day in the new job, Fiz is cool towards him and makes it known that she misses Cassie.
