Will her arrival come between Charles and Manpreet?
Manpreet is horrified when Charles' mother Claudette arrives at Woodbine and realises she’s the same woman she had a quarrel with in the cafe earlier. And Manpreet and Claudette get off to an awkward start after Claudette scolds her for her past jilting of Charles.
Later, with Claudette out of the room, Manpreet talks openly to Charles about her difficulties with his mother, but little does she know that Claudette has heard every word.
The following day, Claudette takes every opportunity to hurt Manpreet’s feelings and Charles and Manpreet are left concerned when Claudette arrives back having put her back out.
And Manpreet is disappointed when Charles later decides to stay home and look after his mother instead of going on date night.
