 10-16 MAY

As Harvey prepares for the Slaters camping trip, things go from bad to worse when Jean refuses to go without Stacey, upsetting Lily in the process.

When Harvey manages to convince Stacey to come, his work is soon undone when Lily is adamant she doesn’t want Stacey there.

Exploding, Harvey heads to the café to seek solace with Kathy, only to receive the cold shoulder.

As Stacey and Lily make amends, the Slaters rally together to set up a makeshift camp at home when Alfie reveals the campervan is no longer available.

Overcome with guilt, Harvey heads to the Square, but when he returns home, Jean proposes!

But when Harvey fails to find an answer, a heartbroken Jean is forced to flee to the café where she confides in Kathy.

When questioned by Alfie, Harvey remains tight-lipped, and prepares to reveal all to Jean when she returns. However, things go from bad to worse when Jean mistakes Harvey’s words as an acceptance to her proposal.

As the Slaters celebrate, Harvey makes his excuses to leave and heads to Kathy’s for a kiss. Unbeknownst to them, Cindy is watching and has recorded it all.

Later, Harvey is overwhelmed when the Square congratulate him on his engagement, and the Slaters head to The Vic to officially announce the news at George and Elaine’s request.

As Ian and Kathy excitedly prepare for the baby’s welcome home party, disaster strikes when Cindy arrives.
