David comes face-to-face with Josh as him and Shona risk losing Max
After Max returns home from school in a foul mood, Sarah and Shona return home to find Max and Lily rowing over the telly. Suddenly there's a crash and Harry is knocked unconscious so Shona call an ambulance.

As Sarah heads off to the hospital with Harry, Shona turns on Max, blaming him for Harry's injury. But will she believe him when he tells her it was Lily who pushed Harry over and not him?
When Marion arrives and introduces herself to Shona as Max's grandma, she discovers that Max has been visiting her regularly and is currently with her. Noticing Shona's drunk, Marion calls her an unfit mother and turns to Adam to see how she can get custody of her grandchildren. He agrees to advise, unaware of the Platt connection.
Whilst Shona tells Sarah about Marion’s visit, Lily admits she pushed Harry and Shona is gutted when she receives a text from Marion informing her that she’ll be hearing from her solicitor.
Finding out from Shona that Max has been staying with Marion who's fighting for custody, David's concerned and his day goes from bad to worse when he goes to the medical wing to get his medication and is horrified to spot a bloodied and bruised Josh waiting to get treatment.
After making brief eye contact with him, David heads back to his cell, visibly shaken and when Abe reveals that Josh is inside for drugging and raping someone, David admits that Josh did exactly the same to him.
Back on the street Sarah’s horrified to discover Marion has been seeking legal advice from Adam.

Realising that time is ticking, Daniel and Sinead settle down in front of the telly aware that these moments will soon be a thing of the past.
Later, Sinead admits to Beth that just the simplest of tasks has become an uphill struggle as she has no energy. Aware Sinead won’t live to see Christmas, Kirk consults Beth, Craig, Adam and Tracy and they plan to celebrate Christmas early.

After meeting with a PR Agent, Gemma is interested in their suggestion that she could make a small fortune from interviews but when she starts to get stomach pains, she returns to hospital.
After they tell her to get some rest, Gemma is delighted when Bernie agrees to look after Gemma's PR - Chesney is less keen on the idea.
