As David in particular, makes it very clear that he's not welcome back in Weatherfield. But will he win back Leanne?
Nick's return has been met with some mixed responses; Peter is unimpressed, Gail is surprised and delighted and David is angry, telling him that he wasn't there when he needed him the most.
When Gail berates Nick for neglecting his family, he promises to come to No. 8 as soon as he has spoken to Leanne. But when Toyah spots Leanne talking to Nick, she's horrified and lays into him for heaving her sister in the lurch when she needed him the most.
Keeping to his word, Nick returns to No.8 and whilst Gail is pleased to see him, David makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with him. Nick's shocked when Gail reveals that David did a stint in prison for beating up Gary and is even more shocked when David lets slip that he considered taking his own life.
Feeling suitably guilty, Nick pays Leanne another visit and tells her how sorry he is for the way he let her down, how he wants to make it up to her and how he wants them to get back together.
Elsewhere, Simon tells Nick about falling in with Tyler’s gang and getting into trouble and Carla is shocked to see Nick getting into his car.
