Emma worries for Curtis' health as he announces that he’s going to train for the Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Oliver’s fund.
With Steve touched by his generosity, Emma offers to do the Three Peaks Challenge with Curtis to show her support, but he’s adamant he wants to do it alone.
As Curtis leaves for his Three Peaks Challenge he meets up with a charity worker to give a talk about his condition at the golf club, clearly having no intention of doing the Three Peaks!
Meanwhile, having found out her high predicted grades, Amy contemplates her future. But when she reveals her plans to study Business at Uni, Steve is forced to admit to Tracy that he promised Emma the money from the flat sale to fund her wedding.
With Tracy’s eyes boring into him, Steve suggests to Emma that she scale back her wedding so they can pay for Amy’s uni fees.
Having overheard their exchange, Amy reveals she’d rather go to a local uni and live at home. But Tracy's not happy that Amy plans to use her inheritance from Deirdre to fund her education so Emma can splash the cash on her wedding.
