Daniel celebrates the end of his trolling as Jodie deletes her posts in Corrie

But is it really the end?

Stressed, Daniel tells Ken that Bertie’s being bullied as a result of the vile social media posts, and he intends to confront Truthteller.

In the flat, Jodie reads Daniel’s furious reply to the post. But when Daniel enters and demands to know what she is looking at, will Jodie own up?

Later, Daniel tells Jodie that he’s reported the trolling to the police and they’re going to investigate.

Unable to sleep, Daniel scrolls through all the vile posts, and Jodie points out that Truthteller doesn’t appear to have posted for a while, and it would seem other trolls have jumped on the bandwagon.

As Daniel approaches No.1, he is ambushed by two lads who pelt him with paint and hurl insults, filming his reaction as he threatens to kill them.

Later, Daniel’s rage explodes in Speed Daal when he sees Idris laughing at the footage.

Elsewhere, Jodie’s put out when Roy informs her she’s no longer required because Shona has decided to return to work.

When Ken urges him to take another holiday to clear his head, Daniel admits that he never went, but hid in his flat with only Jodie for support. Shocked, Ken asserts that Bertie deserves better from his Dad.

Looking up from his phone, Daniel tells Jodie that Truthteller has deleted all their nasty posts, and it would seem they’ve disappeared. But as he gathers Ken, Tracy, Alya and Jodie to celebrate in the Bistro, is it really the end?
