When David reveals that he’s got the day off and he plans to spend it watching movies, Jodie decides to pull a sickie and join him.

At No.8, David confides in Jodie that he’s swapped their broken wheelie bin with Lisa’s nice new one. Jodie is amused, and as they banter, David’s impressed to realise he’s met his match.

Meanwhile, Lisa announces that her divorce has finally come through, and Carla takes her to the cafe to celebrate, leaving Jodie to mind Connie.
