Dean returns to take George away from John Paul in Hollyoaks

But will he get his 'soulmate' back?

When Sally asks John Paul to set up a meeting with the Nightingales to talk about Juliet’s education, John Paul wants to avoid James for the sake of his relationship with George. However, Dean shows up again and wants George back!

Rattled by Dean's determinations to win back his ‘soulmate’, John-Paul leaves George a drunken voicemail - thinking he must be with Dean, he lies and says that he's with James.

When George plays him the voicemail, John Paul is mortified but their problems get worse when Mercedes reveals that Dean has set up camp in the carpark and is not leaving until he’s spoken to George.

George makes it clear to Dean that he’s with John Paul now, but it’s George’s turn for jealousy when he spots John Paul talking to James.

Later, George puts on quite a performance of playing the victim in front of the McQueens and when he runs into Dean, he knows just how to get back at John Paul and enjoys seeing how much his latest mind games have affected John Paul.

After being used by George, Dean is left heartbroken and tells Courtney about his and George’s past, warning that John Paul will be the next victim. As she warns John Paul about what Dean said, George overhears and thinks quick in order to silence her.

Hollyoaks continues Mondays - Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4
