How will he react? And as she receives her sentence in court, what will it be?

 31 JANUARY - 6 FEBRUARY

Debbie tells Ryan that she'd like him to run the hotel while she's in prison. And when Kevin arrives for lunch, he’s fuming to find Debbie, Sally, Tim, Abi, and Tyrone waiting. Debbie assures him they only want to help but as Kevin reluctantly joins, he states he doesn't need their help.

When Carl appears, he accuses Debbie of stabbing him in the back, railing at her for undermining him by putting Ryan in charge. Later at the flat, when Debbie opens up to Carl, how will he react?

Overhearing a tearful Summer telling Nina how she misses Billy, and if Debbie hadn't been drink-driving, he’d still be alive, Carl is consumed with guilt.

As Ronnie tells Carl that if they send Debbie to prison, it will speed up her dementia, Carl resolves to put things right.

When Debbie accidentally calls him Ray, Ronnie’s worried sick and tells Carl his worries. After having a strange conversation, he fills Debbie in, and she dashes out.

When Carl tearfully admits that he was the one driving the car, Debbie reveals she’s always known but wants to protect him. But how will Carl react when Debbie reveals the mother of all secrets?

At the hotel, Ronnie chivvies Debbie and tells her they don’t want to be late for court. When Ryan hands over the key to her flat and reveals that Carl left it at reception, Debbie’s heart breaks.

Announcing that there’s one more thing she needs to do, Debbie hurries out, and finds Carl to tell him it would mean the world to her if he came to court.

As Debbie takes her place in court, she’s pleased to see Ronnie, Kevin, Abi and Ryan there in support, but disappointed by Carl's absence. As she is called to receive her sentence, what will the verdict be?

Coronation Street continues Monday to Friday at 8.30pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
