Calling at No.3, Ronnie shares the good news that the last of the new houses has sold and Ed agrees to join him for a celebratory drink.
When Ronnie suggests to Ed that they form a business partnership, Michael suggests they call the business Ediron Developments, and the brothers are impressed.
But when Ronnie shows him a property ripe for their next development project, Ed reckons it’s a big job that wouldn’t show any return for years and Ronnie criticises his lack of ambition.
Later, in the hotel bar, Debbie is distracted to clock local hospitality entrepreneur Jason Drinkwater, clearly celebrating some sort of deal with Philip Newton from the brewery.
