DI Banks is close to getting exposed after holding Vicky and Robbie captive in Hollyoaks

Under pressure, can a conflicted Rex help to bring down DI Banks?

When Rex confronts Grace, she denies knowing where Frankie and Dillon are and breaks down as he pleads with her to get the teens to safety and to go to the police. She tells him she is in too deep with DI Banks and that she and Curtis would be in danger.

And Darren, wondering how Frankie could have gone on holiday without her passport, goes to see Donny, who won’t engage. Instead, insisting that the teens are safe.

Elsewhere, Robbie, who is being kept captive by DI Banks, hears Vicky’s voice and calls out to her from another nearby locked room.

As Vicky and Robbie talk through the walls, she apologises for her mistakes and admits she still loves him. Robbie confesses he’s the reason she’s locked up. He’d wanted revenge, but believed he stopped Grace. And Vicky asks Robbie if they can start again if they get out.

Meanwhile, a bruised and vulnerable Kat arrives at the Osbornes, and they persuade her to stay the night at the house.

Putting her anger at Kat aside, she thinks that Kat may know something about Frankie. They gently urge Kat to tell them what has happened to her and she starts talking.

The morning after staying with the Osbornes, Kat confesses to cutting Frankie off from her family to leave her vulnerable.

And Dodger has an update on the search warrant, which brings them closer to exposing DI Banks, and goes to tell Donny that they are getting closer and are days away from getting serious evidence.

Meanwhile, concerned to discover Lucas has not slept ahead of his pre-operation consultation, Ste is worried sick about him not looking after himself. But Lucas rails at him, consumed with his flailing relationship with Dillon. Ste gives him a fatherly talk. If he doesn’t get better, he won’t be able to fix them.
