But what does he know? And what will his arrival mean for Jez?

27 SEPTEMBER - 3 OCTOBER
Following an altercation with Jez the night before, which triggered a memory revealing what really happened the night Bobby Costello was murdered, a bleary-eyed John Paul wakes up in a panic.
With the pieces falling into place, John Paul rushes to the Blakes to warn Liberty she’s in danger, but with mumbled words and alcohol on his breath, a sceptical Liberty doesn’t believe him and urges him to get help.
Meanwhile, after discovering Jez’s two hostages, Sienna and Ste on the Love Boat, rather than saving their lives, a sinister Clare decides to use this to her advantage and blackmails Jez, believing he has her late husband’s missing cash.
After finding out about John Paul and Liberty’s conversation this morning, Jez wants answers. Confronting John Paul, who is doubting his own memories, Jez is taken aback when he vows to get sober and uncover the truth. Not wanting his ex-fiancé to be his ruin, Jez takes his moment to silence him for good.
Meanwhile, at The Hutch, John Paul is brushed off by a furious Diane, who is rushing to get ready for Tony’s plea hearing. But when Darren and Nancy cancel on Tony’s plea hearing, a breezy Jez and Liberty decide to go and show their support to a clearly distressed Diane.
As he faces the stand, Tony is a bag of nerves, and right before heading in, Diane tells Liberty and Jez that the McQueens won’t be there due to John Paul’s fate.
Chilled to the bone, Liberty knows what she told Jez right before the attack, and as the plea hearing begins, she can't sit quietly and calls Dodger about her fears.
When Dodger arrives at court, what does he know?
Elsewhere, Frankie is upset to hear that Grace and Clare’s case has been dropped, and when Clare tells her family she’s fleeing the village, Froggy is furious, whilst Grace is left heartbroken.
On her way out of the village, Clare comes across the teens, and Vicky is determined to finally find out who killed her husband.
Soon, Clare bundles Frankie, Dillon and Vicky into her car and plays a twisted game of truth or dare with them.
