Dylan is arrested after Lisa blames him for Betsy’s collapse in Corrie

But is he really responsible?

11-17 JULY

After a disastrous attempt at cooking breakfast for Dylan, Betsy asks him for some cooking lessons, and he shows her how to make a bolognese. Assuring her that they’ll make their long-distance relationship work, Betsy smiles as they share a hug.

Later, as an ambulance pulls away from No.6 with its siren blaring, at the hospital, Ryan explains to Carla how he returned home to find Betsy unconscious on the kitchen floor.

At Betsy’s bedside a nurse explains to a tearful Lisa that they are taking Betsy for an MRI Scan. Dylan arrives to see Betsy, but runs out of the room and tells Lisa and Carla that she seems to be having a fit. Lisa and Carla watch in horror as the doctor tends to Betsy.

Upset, Betsy begs Lisa not to blame Dylan for what happened. And when Sean suggests to Dylan that they go together to visit Betsy, he shuts the conversation down, leaving Sean suspicious.

Later in the cafe, Sean is shocked when a furious Lisa turns on Dylan and blames him for Betsy’s collapse. Calling at the station, Lisa tells the desk sergeant she’d like to report a crime. And Dylan is upset when Lauren tells him that Betsy is in a bad way and doesn’t want to see him.

Shocked, Fiz tells Sean that she has just seen two police officers arrest Dylan at the precinct. Unaware that Lauren told Dylan to stay away, Betsy is stunned to discover Lisa has reported him to the police.

Later, when Sean and Dylan go into The Rovers, Lauren refuses to serve them, but Dylan says that he believes Brody was responsible for what happened to Betsy. How will Betsy and Brody react when they hear what Dylan is saying?
