When Robbie tries to set Stacey up with one of Shrimpy's mate, she declines and heads to see Martin at Dot's.
Unable to keep their hands off each other they're almost caught by Bex and Stacey worries that Martin is embarrassed by her as he couldn't be honest with his daughter.
Full of anger, Stacey tells Robbie that she does want to date Shrimpy's mate after all but when Martin spots her on the date, the pair end up resolving their differences and head to Dot's to pick up from where they left off.
This time, they're caught by Sonia who trying to hide her upset, explains that this will confuse Bex.
Martin tells her that they just want some time to themselves to do it right this time and when he later apologises for his and Stacey's antics in the shed, Sonia agrees not to tell anyone. But Ted has already told Patrick and Bernadette so it's not long before the news spreads.
And things go from bad to worse as Stacey and Martin decide to mess around in his van but end up getting caught by the police and attract a small crowd.
