Jay and Ruby kiss after he takes her out on a date

After asking Ruby out on a date, Billy suggests to Jay that after everything they've both been through, it might not be a good idea.

Ignoring Billy's advice, Jay does suggest to Ruby that they meet as friends instead which knocks her confidence.

After some moral support from Stacey, Ruby meets at Walford East but they get a shock when Billy crashes the date with Shirley in tow, bringing an early end to the evening. Having ruined the date, Billy tries to put things right by telling Ruby that he has a crush on Shirley.

Having walked Ruby home, Jay is startled when Ruby shouts after him, her flat was broken into. Paying her a visit, Jay reassures her that he would like to see her again.

Preparing for their second, Ruby feels out of her depth as she tries a recipe that Honey gave her so she calls Stacey to help her. When Jay arrives, he's touched by her efforts.

As Sharon returns, Keanu's torn over her and Louise

After passing her theory test, Louise thanks Keanu by putting a picture of them on social media but fearing Sharon will see it, he pleads with her to take it down. With Louise annoyed, Keanu seeks advice from Bex who suggests throwing a surprise party to congratulate her.

As Keanu invites Hunter to the party, the two have a punch up in the street and Bex tries to calm the situation and is left unnerved by Hunter's response.

Touched that Keanu has organised a surprise party for her, Louise kisses Keanu just as Sharon comes walking through the door.

As everyone joins Denise for her 50th at The Vic, Sharon and Keanu struggle to keep their eyes off each other and desperate to talk, Keanu follows her to the toilet. As he tells her that he's missed her, she makes digs at him for kissing Louise and her reminds her she was the one who called it off.

When Louise enters the toilet, Sharon helps Keanu sneak out. But with Sharon on his mind, Keanu struggles to keep up appearances with Louise and when Sharon makes it clear it’s over between them, he makes a touching gesture. But who for?

As Keanu mopes about, Karen suspects it’s about Sharon, despite his reassurance that it's over between them. With Karen’s words on his mind, Keanu goes to see Sharon.

Keanu later panics when Phil jokes about grandchildren and is relieved when Phil lets him slip off to spend time with Louise. But who does Keanu really want to be with?

Hunter's behaviour becomes a cause for concern

As Mel removes all traces of Ray from the house, she is concerned to hear from Bex about Hunter's fight with Keanu. But when Mel encourages her son to open up, he humours her and sneaks off. Finding the gun he hid, Hunter is relieved. But what does he have planned?

Sensing that Mel is worried about her son, Jack goes off to find Hunter and is alarmed to find him trying to chat up girls at the E20. After taking him home, Mel confronts Hunter about his behaviour but as he puts on the fake tears, Mel comforts Hunter.

Meanwhile, a livid Nicola and Maddie arrive and demand to see Ray and won't leave until they know his whereabouts. Luckily, Mel manages to convince them that she knows nothing. But the next morning, Hunter spots them watching him and wonders why.

With Jack sharing his concerns with Mel about Hunter's behaviour in the club, Mel looks at the CCTV footage and turns to Phil for advice. Turning to Ian for help, he very quickly gets the wrong end of the stick and assumes it's a date. But when she puts her foot in it about Bobby, Ian storms off.

As she later arrives to apologise, Ian opens up to Mel about what happened with Bobby leaving Mel with food for thought over what to do with Hunter, leading to a big decision. But what will it be?
