Mel tells Hunter that they're leaving Walford

But how will he take the news?

As Mel struggles to cope, she tells Hunter that the best thing to do is to tell the police everything that happened on New Year's Day. Despite doing her best to reassure him, Mel worries when she later can't find Hunter.

After storming into the office needing money, Maddie is taken aback by Mel's refusal to to give her any and after Maddie makes a remark about Hunter, Mel snaps and leave Maddie scared by grabbing her.

With Billy left stunned, Mel apologises to him and realises that she can't confess. Finding Hunter at home, Mel is relieved but is shocked to hear where he's been and locks him in the house.

Offering to sell her share of the club to Phil, Mel refuses his low offer, but before they can negotiate, she receives a call from Hunter to say that the police have arrived.

When she's told about Hunter’s threats to Maddie and Nicola, Mel is unnerved by her son's attitude and decides to accept Phil’s offer. Worried about Hunter’s behaviour after telling him that they are moving away, Mel hides all the knives in the house to protect him.

But after Phil shows up at the house, Hunter antagonises him into leaving and questions Mel about why there are no knives in the house. Admitting that she just wanted him to be safe, Hunter sees her concern and agrees that they should leave Walford.

Ruby spends the night with Jay

But struggles to trust him

After spending the night with Jay, Ruby is mortified to wake up to an empty bed and as she spills her worries onto Stacey, admitting that she hasn't heard from Jay since, Stacey assures her that Jay isn't like that.

But Ruby being Ruby gets the wrong end of the stick and confronts Jay at work only to later return home to find a note that he left for her on the fridge and she heads to The Vic to make amends.

During a double date with Jay and Ruby, Martin is surprised to see how good they are together and Ruby is flattered when Jay helps her land a new client for her events company.

Kathy agrees to make a go of things with Masood

But how will Ian take the news?

Mo uses Tommy to make some money

Until she loses him!

With Jean feeling unwell, Mo offers to take Tommy to school. After convincing him to play ill for one of her money making schemes, she panics when she ends up losing him!

As Stacey and Kat celebrate Kat passing her first round of Knowledge tests, they are both confused when Martin brings Tommy home, having found him wandering outside. When a flustered Mo arrives home Kat and Stacey decide to teach her a lesson.

When Kat refers to Cherry as one of her kids, Mo worries that she's getting too attached and gives her a reality check - making her realist that she cant't look after all the children on her own.

Deciding to pay Hayley a visit, Kat tries to persuade her to come back home to look after Cherry after hearing about her progress.
