But what will she make of his latest warning?

 21-27 JUNE

When Yolande asks at The Vic if they can host Patrick’s 85th birthday, Elaine overrules an overwhelmed Linda and agrees, before leaving Linda to hold the fort alone again.

As George steps in to help, Elaine is infuriated and lashes out, destroying any hope of a truce and he later warns her that his new solicitor says he’s got a claim on The Vic.

Later, Yolande asks Jean to keep Patrick distracted while they make the party arrangements and over a drink at The Vic, Patrick counsels Jean on the situation with Kat and advises her to make amends.

And Denzel agrees to babysit the younger kids on the night of Patrick’s party and gets permission from Yolande to have friends over. Jean is pleased when he invites Tommy, and Joel angles for an invite too so he can get closer to Amy.

However, Joel is annoyed when Denzel makes it clear he’s not welcome and is annoyed when his attempts to chat up Amy are thwarted.

With Elaine having gone big for Patrick’s party, when the Trueman-Foxes arrive, the ladies are horrified, but Patrick is delighted.

Meanwhile, at the house, Denzel is welcoming his friends and fobs the little children off with a movie. Joel arrives and tries to bribe his way in with alcohol, and later, he and Denzel go to The Vic, where Elaine agrees to let them have a glass of punch each.

Unbeknownst to Elaine, the boys steal jugs of punch to take home, but once there, they leave them unattended and the teens are horrified to realise Raymond and the twins have drunk the punch.

The following day, Johnny comforts Linda who's at loggerheads with Elaine following the previous night and at the hospital, Denise and Kat are furious that Elaine served the boys.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
