A big night out changes everything
As Emmerdale breaks with tradition, telling a story in 2 parts, 2 weeks apart
Leyla, Priya, David, Tracy, Maya, Kerry, Rhona, Victoria, Ellis, Aaron, Robert and Bernice head into Hotten, determined to let their hair down in a nightclub, for a host of different reasons.
It’s a night of huge revelations and unexplained outcomes. No one will be quite sure of what exactly has happened...
As the villagers party away they are sent into a haywire of confusion when the fire alarm sounds and the bouncers evacuate everyone into the street. Once outside confusion reigns amongst the villagers and the game is finally up for Maya as she and Jacob are caught by one of the girls.
Rhona is smarting after feeling jealous over Pete and meets a handsome stranger whilst Victoria struggles to locate her friends in the confusion outside the club.
Then two weeks later (week commencing 4th May), Emmerdale will air a collection of flashback episodes which will take the audience back to that night and finally reveal what really happened and why lives will be changed forever.

When a suspicious David asks Maya why she is selling her car, she lies that she needs it to pay for her divorce. Feeling guilty, David privately reveals plans to propose to Maya with Val’s ring, sending Jacob into a tailspin as he’s stolen it to raise money to pay off Liv.
After Maya reluctantly agrees to go clubbing with David and the girls, she reveals she knows about the proposal and tells him not to. Heartbroken, David finds solace in Tracy and they kiss. Having seen the kiss, Maya is furious and storms out of the club.
Later, one of the girls catches Maya and Jacob together. How will they react when they find out they have been seen? Is the game finally up for Maya?
Ellis puts himself in danger
By sabotaging Billy and Max's robbery
After giving a rather flimsy cover story, Billy heads out to secretly meet gangster Max, leaving Ellis suspicious. When Max senses that Billy’s having second thoughts about using his work van for the robbery, he threatens Billy.
Having discovered their plan, Ellis sabotages the robbery leaving Billy fearful of what Max will do to retaliate. It’s not long before Max turns up at Tall Trees threatening Billy’s whole family and they have a vicious fight.
When Max almost runs Jessie over in his car, she demands to know why Billy’s hanging out with him again and worries what might come next.
The next evening, Max follows Ellis and who is with other villagers on their big night out and sends Billy a threatening photo of Ellis at the club.
Panicked, Billy heads into town to help. Will he get there before Max does any harm to Ellis? And how far will Billy go to protect his brother?
Rhona's jealous of Pete
As he confides in Debbie over her behaviour
Pete innocently confides in Debbie after feeling hurt that Rhona has been secretly helping Kim Tate find Jamie. As he leaves Keeper’s Cottage, Rhona’s gutted to see him being friendly with Jack and Sarah from across the street.
Her jealousy gets the better of her and she snaps at Pete, soon they make up and seem to put the matter to rest, but when she discovers that Pete told Debbie about her menopause, she feels furious and humiliated.
Determined to prove she’s still young at heart, a touchy Rhona goes clubbing with the other villagers and has one too many drinks.
Aaron and Robert worry that their surrogacy dream is over
When Natalie learns of Aaron and Liv’s criminal past
But Faith is determined to make her change her mind.
