Has he gone too far this time, for even Tony to defend?
Wanting to take back control and diminish any power Eric has left over her, at the prison, Maxine's patience wears thin as she isn’t prepared to take any more of the inmate’s excuses. Unable to play pretend and stick to James’ plan, Maxine sends him away to leave her and her abductor alone.
No longer afraid, Maxine tells Eric she wants to understand. When he blames his life’s failures on the acts of women, Maxine encourages the radicalised inmate to accept he is the only one to blame.
Later, things look bleak for James as he’s interrogated down at the station.
The following day, Tony receives an unwanted call from Eric who pleads with him to come and visit him one more time in prison so he can explain why he ended up how he is. But when Tony and Beau bump into Maxine, they discover that the injury on her face is from Eric, Tony realises Eric hasn't changed.
