Ethan is shocked to overhear a conversation between Ruby and Rose. Determined to use his last few hours of freedom wisely, Ethan confides in Charles about the concerns he has for Dawn.

With Charles’ encouragement, Ethan decides to leave Dawn a voicemail and whilst they prepare for court, father and son have a heartfelt conversation.

Returning from the kitchen, Charles is frantic to find Ethan has suddenly collapsed on the floor.

Fear grows at Woodbine as Manpreet tries in vain to resuscitate Ethan. Fearing the worst, Charles is terrified and Dawn is concerned after hearing Ethan’s voicemail.
