Eva returns to Weatherfield as the new landlady of The Rovers in Corrie

But will everyone be pleased to see her back?

Eva Price, played by Catherine Tyldesley, makes her long awaited return to Weatherfield on October 27th with her new family.

Outside the Rovers, Eva’s husband Ben Driscoll played by Aaron McCusker are the first to arrive on the street when he surprises her by revealing he has bought the Rovers Return and tells her she is the new landlady, and she thanks him for the best surprise ever.

And they waste no time in settling into the pub and welcoming all the regulars with a huge opening party but the arrival of Ben’s mum Maggie, Pauline McLynn brings some shocking news for Eva.

The sale of the Rovers puts Eva back behind the bar of the nation’s favourite pub for the first time since 2018.

Across the street, Maria watches in horror, Eva Price is back, whilst Leanne is pleased to have her sister back and hugs her.

Eve urges Leanne to go and fetch Toyah so they can all have a drink together and clear the air.

But as Leanne arrives at the bistro, she finds Nick on one knee mid proposal. How will Leanne react? And will Toyah agree to marry Nick?

Back at the pub, Eva’s daughter Susie arrives, closely followed by Ollie. As Ben explains to Ollie that he has a business proposition for him, Toyah storms into the Rovers and goes for Leanne.

Stepping in, Eva orders everyone out and locks the door, telling Leanne and Toyah they’re sorting out their differences once and for all.

As Eva and Ben celebrate, they’re brought up short by the arrival of Ben’s Mum Maggie, who announces that she’s moving in, leaving Eva horrified.

Having admired the new sign over the door with her name on it, Eva calls a staff meeting to outline plans for a Halloween party. When Maggie reveals that Eva might be the landlady, but she’s Eva’s boss, Sean, Glenda, Lauren, and Gemma are confused.

Pleased to see Adam, Eva invites him to the Rovers' Halloween party. But when Eva later finds a man dressed as a vampire in the back room, she throws her arms around him, assuming it’s Ben, only to be shocked to discover it’s Adam!

As Adam hurries out, he leaves his briefcase behind. Ben’s amused, and Eva comes clean to him, explaining that Adam is an ex-boyfriend, but there’s no reason for him to be jealous.

Having overheard, Maggie wonders how many more skeletons Eva’s got in the closet.
